Twenty years ago Jim Giunta sought out to try to solve a problem with college wrestling. That problem was kids were going to schools that didn't have wrestling programs and kids wanted to wrestle. Now, the National Collegiate Wrestling Association will be hosting its 20th annual championships on March 9-11 in Allen, Texas.

The NCWA started as a small conglomerate of wrestling clubs and has now grown to an organized collection of clubs, school-supported programs and fully vested athletic teams just looking for the opportunity to wrestle. On Episode 316, Giunta will look back on the growth and vision behind the organization and how it spawned after a successful charge in getting Texas to sponsor high school wrestling officially.
