After the first session of Day 2 at the Cadet & Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, we caught up with the Filipino Wrecking Machine, Mark Munoz.

Munoz, a 2001 NCAA champion at Oklahoma State and recently retired UFC fighter, is here to give back to the sport after it taught him so much. Munoz also talks about the scope of the tournament, how Fresno State restarting its program impacts California wrestling and how we need more schools to restart wrestling to increase the sport's diversity and to provide communities like the Latino and Asian-American more opportunities to use athletics as a vehicle to attend college.

This soft-spoken buzzsaw seems just happy to be here.
