In the inaugural episode of the BVU Wrestling BeaverCast, we'll introduce Buena Vista University head wrestling coach Jeff Breese and get his take on his first season in Storm Lake.

The idea behind this podcast is to give fans, parents and alumni of Buena Vista an insight into the program and the process of bringing the wrestling program back to national prominence in Division III and the fight for supremacy in the Iowa Conference.

Coach Breese is a Pennsylvania native who won a AAA state championship at McGuffey High School in Western Pennsylvania and competed collegiately at North Carolina State. Following his career at N.C. State, Breese had a coaching stop at then-brand new Seton Hill University. He spent a year working for the National Wrestling Coaches Association in Manheim, Pa., before getting back into coaching at Northern Illinois. He returned to his alma mater for several seasons before taking over the BV wrestling program at the start of the 2014-15 wrestling season.

Breese breaks down his plans for the program, how he's reaching out to alumni and the administration, his goals and what it's been like to go from the world of Division I to trying to carve out a place in Division III.
