A look at the year-by-year All-American totals by state at the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. In 2013, UWW, then known as FILA, changed wrestling's rules to get back to a more consistent and watchable version of wrestling compared to its ruleset that ran from 2005-2013. Cumulative scoring returned and so did big scores. For a while, it seemed like the relevance of the tournament had waned a little, since ball draws, tennis-style scoring were in and big points and conditioning were out. So how have the states performances been since 2013? This chart looks at the combined medal counts from state associations that have placed wrestlers since the rule changes in 2013.

Note: 16U women started two years prior to this chart in 2011.
