Awards Time
The National Wrestling Media Association announced the winners for the group’s 2021-22 awards on Wednesday. The NWMA awards reward excellence or notable achievement in areas of journalism, broadcasting, content creation and social media in covering wrestling across all levels.
For the second consecutive year, Connecticut Wrestling Online was one of five finalists for the Outlet of the Year award from the National Wrestling Media Association.

The ninth-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling team gave third-ranked UW-La Crosse a battle, but fell to the Eagles 28-10 in a dual on Wednesday night at the McPhee Center. The Blugolds built an early lead, but the Eagles pulled away late in the dual to remain unbeaten in the WIAC.
