No. 2 Iowa Wins 2 Duals at Arm Bar at Armory – University of Iowa Athletics 

The second-ranked University of Iowa wrestling team went 2-0 on Friday night in front of a crowd of 1,000-plus at the Arm Bar at the Armory event in downtown Albany. The Hawkeyes downed Sacred Heart, 35-6, and Buffalo, 35-7, to improve to 4-0 this season.

No. 4 Buckeyes Move to 2-0, Down Columbia 33-6 – Ohio State Buckeyes 

No. 4 Ohio State (2-0) started the weekend with a 33-6 win over Columbia (0-1) at the Covelli Center (Att: 3,271) Friday before traveling to take on No. 17 North Carolina Sunday (noon/ESPN+).

NC State picks up two wins in Albany, defeating Central Michigan and Illinois – NC State University Athletics

The NC State wrestling team improved to 5-0 overall, earning two victories in Albany, NY.

Cowboy Wrestling Rolls to 34-3 Win Over Wyoming in Home Opener – Oklahoma State University Athletics

The Oklahoma State wrestling team jumped out to an early lead and rode the momentum to a dominating 34-3 win over Wyoming in its home opener in Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday night.

Terps Top No. 16 Pittsburgh, 18-16, For First Ranked Win Since 2013 – University of Maryland Athletics

The Terps (4-0) won five bouts and bested No. 16 Pittsburgh (1-1) by a score of 18-16 for the program's first ranked win since 2013 on Friday night in the Fitzgerald Field House. 

Strong Start Propels No. 18 Bison to Win Over Binghamton – NDSU

The No. 18 North Dakota State wrestling program picked up a victory over Binghamton Friday night at the Scheels Center, using a strong start en route to an 18-13 win.

Indiana Wrestling Knocks Off No. 23 Princeton, 22-13 – Indiana University Athletics 

ndiana Wrestling earned a huge dual victory in their home opener of the season, defeating No. 23 Princeton, 22-13, on Friday night in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Illini Wrestling Beats UB, Falls to NC State – University of Illinois Athletics

The Fighting Illini wrestling team left the Arm Bar at the Armory meet in Albany, N.Y. splitting their duals between Buffalo and NC State. They defeated Buffalo 28-9 in their early matchup, but fell to NC State 12-27 later in the night.

JACKRABBITS NOTCH 40-4 WIN OVER AUGUSTANA – South Dakota State University Athletics 

South Dakota State recorded pins in each of the first two matches, setting the tone for the Jackrabbits' 40-4 victory over Augustana in the wrestling dual opener for both squads Friday night at Frost Arena.

Close Matches Fall the Other Way for Wrestling in a Home-Opening Loss to Michigan State – American University 

Four matches were within three or fewer points at the end, but Michigan State nonetheless handed American University wrestling a shutout loss in the Eagles' home opener on Friday night. The Spartans (3-0) got all 10 wins and won 33-0 against AU (2-2).

CSC picks up a pair of dual wins in Sterling, Colorado – Chadron State College Athletics 

The Chadron State College men's wrestling team won twice on the road Thursday, defeating NJCAA No. 17 Northwest College of Powell, Wyoming, by a score of 31-18 and finishing No. 11 Northeastern Junior College, 46-6, in Sterling on Thursday.

Cobras Steal their First Victory of the Season Over King University – Coker University

The Coker Men's Wrestling Team slid away with a victory in their road match against King on Friday (Nov. 18th) to claim their first team win of the 2022-23 season.

Gonzalez pin secures comeback win for Blue Jays – Elizabethtown College Athletics 

The first dual win of the season came in exciting fashion for the Elizabethtown College wrestling team Friday night at Thompson Gymnasium. Down 22-18 to Wilkes with one match to go, junior Dorian Gonzalez got the pinfall victory with just 38 seconds left in his bout to give the Blue Jays a 24-22 win over the Colonels.

Falcons Finish Bobcats on Friday Night – Concordia University Wisconsin

The CUW wrestling team took on Bryant and Stratton for the second year in a row on the Friday before the CUW Open.

Junior College

Community college sets wrestling program plans – Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The University of Arkansas Community College at Rich Mountain will debut a men's wrestling program for the fall 2023 semester, with the intent of adding women's wrestling the following fall, Chancellor Phillip Wilson told trustees on Tuesday.

Major Sports Program Expansion Announced – Southeast CC
