Ohio native Dom Abounader has been one of the best 184-pounders in the country throughout the course of his career at the University of Michigan. In three previous trips to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, he came up short, failing to place each year. On Episode 426 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, we talk to the Michigan senior about what it was finally like to breakthrough and finish his career on the podium.

Abounader will share his history in wrestling, what it was like coming through St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio and his thoughts on the coaching change seeing the retirement of Joe McFarland and the ascension of Sean Bormet.

He'll also tell an Adam Coon story or two and we'll also recap a wild situation from his days wrestling in Fargo.
