No. 3 Wrestling Falls Short at No. 5 Arizona State, 19-17 – University of Missouri Athletics
The No. 3 ranked University of Missouri wrestling team fell short on the road in Tempe, Ariz., losing 19-17 to No. 5 Arizona State. The Tigers move to 1-1 this season, and are 2-5-1 all-time against the Sun Devils.

Thursday night in Mitchell Hall. The Eagles improve to 2-0 while the Ducks drop to 1-1.
Blugolds Beat Titans to Reclaim Chancellor's Cup – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Athletics
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling team was victorious in its home opener on Thursday night, besting UW-Oshkosh 37-6 in a dual at the McPhee Center. The Blugolds reclaimed the Chancellor's Cup and avenged last season's loss to the Titans.
Central wrestling squad knocks off top-10 opponent – Central College Athletics
Spoiling the home opener for the No. 8 ranked Coe College Kohawks, the Central College wrestling team left Thursday's dual with a 24-16 victory.
The Roanoke wrestling team opened its dual match portion of the season on the road by knocking off No. 17 Washington and Lee 18-15 in their ODAC opener. The ODAC reinstated wrestling as a conference sport this year.

2022-23 NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll – No. 1 – NAIA
Grand View (Iowa) has now led the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll for the 10th consecutive ranking. Life (Ga.) and Southeastern (Fla.) stay put from the preseason poll, while Indiana tech leapfrogs Marian (Ind.) for fourth place. Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) and Vanguard (Calif.) move into the rankings, replacing Southern Oregon and Thomas More (Ky.)

The second set of National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Women’s Wrestling rankings was released on Thursday. The top five teams stayed the same while Lock Have University cracks the top 10 for the first time in program history.
2022-23 NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll – No. 1 – NAIA
Southern Oregon takes over top billing in the first NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll of the regular season. Campbellsville (Ky.) follows suit, Grand View (Iowa) and Menlo (Calif.) remain third and fourth respectively, while Life (Ga.) joins the Top Five. Hastings (Neb.) overtakes York (Neb.) for the final spot in the rankings.
