The No. 16 Nebraska wrestling team dominated No. 18 South Dakota Statee as the Huskers recorded two bonus point victories to grab the 22-17 victory on Sunday. 

Three Individual Champions Lead No. 24 Spartans to Team Title in Reno – Michigan State University Athletics 

Led by a trio of individual champions, No. 24 Michigan State wrestling took home its first tournament title of the 2022-23 season, as the Spartans tallied 161 points to earn the team championship at the Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday at the Reno Events Center.

Cowboys Earn Runner Up Finish at Reno Tournament of Champions – University of Wyoming Athletics 

The Wyoming Cowboy wrestling squad put together a strong performance on Sunday at the Reno Tournament of Champions inside of the Reno Events Center coming away with a Runner-Up team finish for the second year in a row.

Bulls Sweep Edinboro and Bucknell on Sunday – University at Buffalo 

The University at Buffalo wrestling team earned a pair of impressive victories on Sunday afternoon, defeating Edinboro and Bucknell. The Bulls defeated Mid-American Conference-foe Edinboro, 26-6, in the opener and then took down Bucknell, 21-9.

Patriots Improve to 6-0 with Win against American – George Mason University Athletics

The George Mason wrestling team dominated American University in a 23-15 win at the Recreation Athletic Complex (RAC) on Alumni Day. Mason improves to 6-0 in dual action, matching its best start since the 2000-01 season.

NIU Beats Kent State Behind Three Bonus-Point Bouts – NIU Athletics

After trailing 9-3, the Northern Illinois University wrestling team battled-from-behind and took down Kent State 18-15 on the road Sunday inside the Kent State Field House.

Bears impressive in trifecta of home dual wins – University of Northern Colorado Athletics

Wrestling for the first time in the friendly confines of Bank of Colorado Arena this season, UNC dominated the Northern Colorado Quad to post wins over Northeastern Junior College (44-6), Northwest Kansas Technical College (47-6) and New Mexico Highlands (49-0). With the three wins, UNC improves to 7-1 in duals on the season. 

Sunday Split – Stanford University Athletics

No. 23 Stanford split a pair of duals on Sunday, falling to No. 10 Virginia Tech (22-12) before dominating Lindenwood (43-6).

Jacob Ealy Wins Title at 149 lbs.; Four Other Mountain Cats Place at 2022 Midwest Classic – University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Athletics

Jacob Ealy claimed the title at 149 lbs., while four other Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers placed to lead the Mountain Cats to a second-place finish in a 30-team field at this weekend's 2022 Midwest Classic Wrestling Tournament in Indianapolis.

No. 8 Augustana Wrestling Splits York, UNK Duals – Augustana University Athletics

The No. 8 Augustana wrestling team defeated the York Panthers before falling to the No. 2 Nebraska Kearney Lopers on Saturday. The Vikings move to 4-3 on the season overall and 1-0 in conference action. 

Mavericks Sweep Cactus Duals in Phoenix – Minnesota State University – Mankato Athletics

The No. 20 Minnesota State wrestling team traveled to Phoenix, Ariz., to participate in the Cactus Duals, finishing 3-0 on the day.

Division III

No. 1 Wartburg Goes Undefeated at Desert Duals – Wartburg College Athletics

The No. 1 Wartburg men's wrestling team moved to 5-0 on the year with two shutouts at its annual Desert Duals Sunday. The Knights defeated Arizona Christian 51-0 and Wayland Baptist 55-0.

Simpson defeats Raiders, Blue Jays to close 2022 – Simpson Athletics 

The Simpson College men's wrestling team ended the first half of its season with a pair of lopsided victories at the Prairie Wolf Duals hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan.

No. 14 Wrestling Goes 4-0 at Kalahari Duals – Loras College Athletics

No. 14 Loras College wrestling secured four varsity dual wins on Saturday at the Kalahari Duals as the Duhawks cruised to three easy wins after claiming a come-from-behind victory in their opener.

Men's wrestling completes clean sweep at Gator Boots Duals – Augustana College Athletics

Augie men's wrestling completed a trio of contests at the Gator Boots Duals on Saturday, December 17. The Vikings swept the competition in Nashville, securing dual victories over Huntingdon, Dubuque, and Alma to move their season record to 5-4. 

Men's Wrestling Shuts Out Penn State Mont Alto – Shenandoah University

The Shenandoah University men's wrestling team posted its first-ever shutout victory Saturday with a 57-0 non-league win over Penn State – Mont Alto.

No. 11 Men’s Wrestling Wins Three Matches at Gator Boot Duals – Baldwin Wallace Athletics 

The No. 11 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team won three matches at the annual Gator Boot Duals hosted by Luther (Iowa) College at the McGavock High School.

Brawlers Go 3-0 in Gator Boot Duals – University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletics

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team, ranked eighth according to the National Wrestling Coaches Association in dual competitions, went 3-0 at the Gator Boot Duals held in Nashville, Tennessee Saturday.

Millikin Wrestling Goes 2-1 at Chocolate Duals – Millikin University Athletics

The Millikin wrestling team went 2-1 in three matches at the Chocolate Duals hosted by Messiah University in Grantham, Penn. on December 17.

Oklahoma City University knocked off Baker (Kan.) 45-9 on Saturday at the Mabee Fieldhouse in the Avila Eagle Duals. 

Argos go 3-1 in the Sunshine State – University of Providence Athletics

KC Buday defeated the top ranked and defending national champion Gage Braun from No. 3 Southeastern University (Fla.) and earned a technical fall over Wylie Dunn from University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) to help the University of Providence men's wrestling team to a 3-1 record in the Southeastern Quad Duals Saturday in Lakeland, Florida.

Emily Cue and Eleni Fakaosi go undefeated as SFU wins three of four at Desert Duals – Simon Fraser University Athletics

Senior Emily Cue (170 pounds) and sophomore Eleni Fakaosi (143 pounds) went undefeated Sunday to spark the Simon Fraser women's wrestling team at the Desert Duals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
