Coach Jeff Breese is ready for the season. Practice has started and it kicked off on Homecoming Weekend in Storm Lake. On Episode 8 of the BVU Wrestling BeaverCast, Breese breaks down the first week of practice and introduces Beaver Nation to the three team captains for 2015-16.
Gable Bonner, an Iowa native, is one of two seniors on the team. The heavyweight from Esterville talks about why he's happy to be a captain again and how much he's actually into wrestling AND math.
Tyler Puls is an Illinois native with career aspirations of serving in our nation's Armed Forces. He's also quite the history buff.
Andrew Nelson came to Storm Lake from a tiny town outside of Reno, Fernley, Nevada. One of the most talkative guys on the team, Nelson looks to come away from BV with a head start into law. He's also quite proficient in the game “mafia,” which is always popular with wrestlers.
