Randy Couture will go “On the Mat” this Wednesday, July 9.
“On the Mat” is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at 1650thefan.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Central on AM 1650, The Fan.
Couture will receive the George Tragos Award from the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum on Saturday, July 19. He was a three-time All-American for Oklahoma State, placing second at the NCAA tournament in 1991 and 1992. Couture was also a member of four U.S. Greco-Roman World Championship teams. He remains one of the most popular competitors in Mixed Martial Arts history, ending his career with a 19-11 record.
